The purpose of fire-rated joint sealing is to prevent the spread of fire between compartments. In other applications, properly executed sealing prevents moisture and rainwater from entering the structures, improves sound insulation and blocks impurities from entering indoor air. A well-executed seal protects the building from external stressors and extends its lifespan. Sealing also reduces the need for repairs and gives the façade a finished appearance.

Our clients are especially satisfied with projects completed using innovative expanding sealing tapes. Our flagship product, the German-made ISO-BLOCO 600, is an environmentally friendly and durable solution for construction joint sealing and it is particularly well-suited for rendered surfaces.

The sealing tape we use comes with a 20-year material warranty, compared to the standard two-year warranty for conventional façade sealants. According to its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), the product has a lifecycle of up to 50 years. For the client, this means clear savings, as the typically recommended joint replacement every 10 years is no longer necessary. ISO-BLOCO 600 withstands over 600 pascals of water pressure while still allowing the structure to breathe outward. The product can be used for sealing various structural joints and is approved for use in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled projects across all Nordic countries.
